How can I make my charm necklace?
Similar to our permanent jewelry experience, you can book an appointment for the charm bar. If you have more questions, we always accept walk ins and we’ll be happy to chat with you more about the process. You can also give us a call beforehand at 410-204-4624.
Once you’re here, you’ll see our extensive collection of charms along with chain options for necklaces and bracelets. We have a wide assortment of charms to choose from, including (but definitely not limited to) initials, animals, food, culture, horoscopes… the list goes on!
Lastly, we custom-size your jewelry piece to ensure it fits you perfectly. We then weld all of the charms onto its chain. All of our charm bar jewelry comes with a CCL care card, ensuring you have everything you need to properly take care of your new jewels!
What is the pricing for the Charm Bar?
We try to keep the pricing for our Charm Bar fairly simple. Most of our charms are $12 each, with the exception of our handmade ceramic charms by Kate Rowe, which are $35.
Our bracelet chains are $35 and necklace chains are $85. We have several other necklace options in store that can be customized with our charms. If you are unable to visit us at our storefront, head over to our customizable Charm Bar Builder where you can create your own custom piece online!
What are your charms made out of?
Our charms are made from 18k thick gold-plated jewelers brass, which is a great quality for the price. This means that you can create a piece that’s truly your own, without needing to spend a higher cost. All charms are tarnish-resistant, but will gain natural wear throughout long-term continued use.
How should I care for my charm necklace?
We encourage you to take off your charm jewelry before swimming and showering. When not wearing your piece, store it in a dry place away from the moisture of a bathroom. Avoid spraying perfumes, self tanners and sunscreens on them as well. Cared for properly, and worn as occasion jewelry, your piece will last you. Each piece of charm jewelry also comes with a charm bar care card to ensure you have all the details you need to care for your new piece!
Can I return my charm jewelry if I change my mind?
Due to the custom nature of our charm jewelry, just like our permanent jewelry, these items are final sale and non-refundable. Charm City Links is not responsible for metal allergies or improper care of jewelry.
As stated above, if you lose a charm within 14 days of purchase, we are happy to replace it, and offer re-welding of charms for free when brought into our store.
